SHOUTOUT

Here's a shoutout to all the folks from ages 9 to 90 in Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough who are now reading Missing in Time. You're the best !!!

Missing in Time by Catherine Harriott

Painting of Robin Hood's Bay
Artist: Diana Hudson
This time-travel novel is set mainly in the tiny seaside village of Robin Hood's Bay in England.

Why?

Because, with it's narrow, winding stepped alleyways and red-roofed cottages clinging to the cliffs, it is the perfect place for my characters to explore.

Robin Hood's Bay also conceals a
secret. Underground tunnels, once used by smugglers, connect many of the cottages together. Tunnels that can be used for other purposes.

Such as
time travel.

A seaside manor house in Robin Hood’s Bay holds a time-travel secret. When Sally falls back to the past and into the harsh life of a servant, she and her footman friend Adrian must unlock the key that will get her home. But by messing with time has Sally ruined the future and put the boy in danger?

“Writing voice is gorgeous – really vivid and contemporary and lively.”
Kathryn Price, Cornerstones

“Narration is immediate, dynamic and convincing. . . . Sally is a really engaging, pro-active heroine.”

Sandra Glover, YA Author

The author wrote Missing in Time with great skill and polished research. Oh, and the ending really made me smile.
